MUSIC VIDEO

Bring BLAME to life

via 360 video and 2D video

360-degree video is a new and exciting way to experience video content. Unlike traditional videos, 360-degree videos allow viewers to see everything that's happening around them, as if they were actually there in the moment. This type of video technology can be particularly useful in the music industry, as it allows musicians to immerse their audience in the music video in a more interactive and engaging way.

When you watch a traditional music video, you're limited to the perspective that the camera offers. You're essentially watching the video from the point of view of the camera operator. In contrast, 360-degree video allows viewers to choose their own perspective, allowing them to see the video from any angle they choose. This kind of control over the viewing experience makes the video feel more personal, engaging, and immersive.

360-degree video technology can also help to enhance the storytelling aspect of music videos. Music videos are often used to tell a story, and with 360-degree video, that story can be told in a much more engaging and interactive way. Viewers can move around the scene and explore different elements of the story, creating a more immersive and memorable experience.

While 360 video can add a sense of immersion and interactivity to a music video, traditional 2D video has its own strengths that can enhance the visual storytelling. For example, traditional 2D video can be used to capture close-up shots of performers' faces and expressions, which can convey emotion and add depth to the storytelling. It can also be used to capture different angles and perspectives that can provide a more dynamic and interesting viewing experience for the audience.

Additionally, 360 video can be edited and repurposed in a way that traditional 2d video cannot, allowing for more creative freedom in post-production. With the right editing techniques, 2D video can be used to create visual effects, tell a story through montage, and add a layer of artistry to the final product.

Ultimately, a combination of traditional 2D and 360 video can provide a more well-rounded and engaging music video that captures the essence of the song and the performers.

ESTIMATED COST OF PRODUCTION

We estimate the cost of filming and editing this project will start at $5700.

We propose a 3 day shoot at 5 hours per day at between 8PM to 1AM. Day 1 and Day 2 is for filming all the scenes and Day 3 is for reshoots as needed.

As everything is happening in a dream state, we would need to find a location with multiple rooms to setup specific scenes or a location with one room we set and reset scenes when we are done filming. We recommend a location with multiple rooms as this will save time, labor and money for any reshoots that will be needed. The possible cost of location will depend on where you think is suitable. We researched three possible locations that would suit the feel of the music and we found the Bowery Hotel in the LES, Akwaba in Bedstuy and a few AirBnB’s in the Brooklyn.

The estimated costs of a 3 day shoot for these possible locations as are as follows:

Bowery Hotel - $2400

Akwaba - $900

Airbnb - $550

Additional foreseen expenses would be craft services and hiring of talent.
